♥ MinSer's Wedding

21st November 2008: It was 12noon. I rushed back to my hostel, got everything ready and then quickly got into a bus. It was Friday! I was going to KL for MinSer's(tang ge, cousin) wedding! It would be very interesting, I guessed.

Couple hours later, I reached Pudu. I got off and followed an experienced traveler who was taking the same bus with me. Praise God! God must have been sending people to guide me at all times. Pudu is a very crowded place, most of the people gather there to get cheap yet pirated stuffs. I disliked the crowd, frankly. The traveler(uncle) took me to Pasar Seni, the place was kinda familiar. Perhaps, I had been there years ago..

I got into the Pasar Seni LRT Station and bought a ticket. Yea, I went there before, It was around 6/7 years previously! I even forgot where to slot in the ticket. Anyway, I guessed it wouldn't be too embarrassing for a foreigner like me. The LRT moved swiftly and it arrived at Taman Paramouth few minutes later. I showed my appreciation to that uncle and I went to the exit of the station. There was a small stall selling kuih, I stopped to get some. At that time, I saw a very familiar car with plate number PDQ9773. Punctually, da ge(my eldest brother) arrived with his gf.

We soon went to a barber shop around there. My mom, mama(grandma) and er gu(aunt) were there setting their hair. Well, I would never be shocked for that. Women's natural instinct of having better appearance doesn't change even through many many ages. Lol.. My mom finished first and my mom followed da ge's car. We passed by xiao gu's(another aunt) house. Wow, it is being refurbished! However, my uncle has rented a house nearby and we stayed there.

An unfamiliar dog was at the entrance of the house, shaking its tail! Dodo is her name, she is very naughty but adorable, a new member of Uncle Ong's family. I did greetings to my relatives. Time past slow for me at certain aspect, it seemed that I had not seen them for 2/3 years. After greeting Uncle Ong(uncle-in-law), xiao gu and my cousins, my family(papa, mummy, da ge, er ge & da ge's gf) and I went out to have dinner. It was around 6.30pm.

We reached The Curve then. We had our dinner in Ying Ker Lou, a very modernly old(lol?!) decorated restaurant. We much enjoyed the dinner! The food was simple but palatable! After that, da ge went to get a dozen of Big Apple donuts! And we walked around and found "70% Off"
tags... Hohoh..

Clothings of Padini, Seed and Padini Authentic are sharply discounted from the original prices! Without dilly-dallying, we joined the crowd to search for suitable clothes! The result was, a shirt each for my two brothers and I. However, I managed to have another casual Padini collared shirt! My family and I were shopping! This seldom happened since I entered secondary school. It was a cool experience! It's simply enjoyable!

We were back to xiao gu's house at 8.40pm+-. I was not hungry but hard to resist the temptation of Big Apple, so did my little cousin, Raegen(standard one). We took a donut each, our satisfaction was obtained. We settled down and watched funny+impressive actions done by serious athletes in Sport Channel. I found that human sometime like to watch people being embarrassed! That's quite true, I laughed hilariously with my relatives. LOL

We slept after choosing and trying clothes once again for the wedding matrimony and dinner on the next day. I was kinda exhausted that night and when my eyes opened again, it was 5.50am on the next day. The best man, BenJin(cousin) had just taken his bath. After dressing, we style our hair. Everything was done, we departed at 7.00am+- to my TuaPek's(uncle) house. We were punctual. We still managed to take some photo shots with MinSer(groom), TuaPek, TuaEm and Su Min(tang jie).

Soon, MinSer's army arrived one by one! A luxury white B&W 525i reached on time as well! Yea, that's the "xing neo chiah"! Without much procrastinating, MinSer and his army(8 for all) started the "war"! Feeling an unprecedented excitement, we all went to the bride's house. It was around 8.15am+- in the morning, 22nd November 2008.

Story back to 23 years ago.. There was a marriage on the same day. "Our marriage was also on 22 November," my mom told me. I not really had idea on the date of the marriage between papa and mummy(my parents) until last month. Maybe they had told me before.. Sounds cool.. 22nd November 2008 also is the 23rd Marriage Anniversary of my parents!

The horn lasted for a few seconds only.. Seriously, bridegroom and the team were too polite! Yea, we had reached our destination! MinSer and WenJen(driver of groom's car) didn't want to cause a disturbance to the neighbor... =_="" Ok, seem like the bride's(JenLing) army is ready to "fight" with us.. LOL

First of all, the bridesmaids wanted some $$.. MinSer gave an angpao. On the spot, they opened the angpao. Walao! And seem like they are not contented, discussing around. MinSer was kinda generous, offered another angpao to them. Well, I don't know the exact amount but it was sure not little. Then, the girls asked MinSer to sing a song. "It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart.." Hoho.. MinSer is a good singer, he might have sung a lot for P&W in church. Yes, we entered the gate but not the door of the house.. This time, they asked MinSer some hard questions. MinSer failed to answer! Then, three of us(lucky, I was excluded) were chosen to carry a watermelon in front and do pumping and some exercises! It's laughable. Hah!

We got into the house but there were two hurdles waiting. All of the guys except the groom were ordered to take biscuits with lots of wasabi! That's way too cruel.. We spent plenty of time dealing with the suffering! Fuh! And then MinSer chose another three of his army for second hurdle. Fortunately, I'm out again! The girls put a sticker on the three's legs, intently to pull off the hair on the legs.. Swt! Swiftly, we successfully overcome the hurdle.

MinSer can then got up to the second floor through the stair. "Why do you love JenLing? Give 5 reasons!" No need much thinking, the groom said it out and got the permission to enter the bride's room. That was my first time to see JenLing, and she was gorgeously dressed. The lovely couple then came down to the living room and had a Tea Ceremony in order to know all the relatives. Before heading to church, we managed to take some interesting photos.

We soon reached the church. The church is Full Gospel Tabernacle and I saw all my relatives. They were formally and nicely dressed. We waited for around a quarter-hour, the wedding ceremony started. The music was being played, the bride and her father walked from behind. The groom was at in front, waiting and giving the most charming smiles.. It was really sweet! The bride was taken over by the groom from her father. After that, praise and worship section started.

We sang songs to the Lord and were meditating the grace of God for all these beautiful things! Then, pastor of the church was invited to give a speech. His speech was inspiring and we learned the 3 visions of MinSer on this marriage: Perfectly imply the example of relationship between Jesus and the church in him and Jen Ling. Help the people in the world, sharing gospel to them because they're all children of God as well. Have two children and train the children to be holy, spiritually fit and follow the quintessence which they have set up.

Everything happened sweetly. "Yes, I do." That was a sincere and everlasting oath done by both bride and bridegroom! "Now you can kiss the bride", said the pastor to MinSer. How sweet...!!!
Soon, the youth group from JenLing's church performed singing. They sang two songs. One of the songs is written by them, that's pretty cool! Another song was Everything from Michael Bubble.

The wedding matrimony ended. All the relatives stayed to have photo taking! It had been a long time since all of us gathered together. Heh! After that, we had lunch which was prepared by JenLing's family. I managed to visit the main hall of the church and got some magazines and booklets of Full Gospel Tabernacle. The church is incredibly huge. It is indeed a great house of God. MinSer and JenLing then took photo with MinSer's cousins(we). Totally twelve of us, MinSer, JenLing, SueMin, Tina, BenJin, Rachel, Amanda, Fallon, Raegen, JianHua(my eldest bro), XinRong(my 2nd bro) and I. Apostles are twelve in number as well. ^^

We then went back to xiaogu's house. We took a rest then started dressing again, for the wedding dinner at night! The wedding dinner was held in Renaissance Hotel which is a 5-Stars hotel! I had a lot of fun being there. The traditional tea ceremony was carried out before the dinner.

The wedding dinner started when MinSer and JenLing walked in the hall from behind! All rose and gave applause, that was memorable! Each table was given a paper to write three questions about the things you wanna know the most from the bride&groom. I wrote three and I found that two of them were asked! Haha! "How was your 1st date? Did the groom hold the bride's hand?""What's the most touching thing that the bride/groom has done for you so far?".... Lol

Some cool performances were done, including dancing and sketch. However, the most remarkable thing during the wedding was the singing made by MinSer, a Malay song, "11 Januari". But the title and the lyrics were changed a bit. The tittle was changed into the date of the first date between MinSer and JenLing. MinSer played guitar and sang. That was my very first time to sense the great romance performed by my cousin, MinSer! Walaaoo!! xD

After singing, MinSer went down from the stage and JenLing terus hugged him. Wow wow... All of us simply dwelled in presence of love. The wedding dinner soon ended with the dessert. Everything was successfully carried out. Being MinSer's cousin, I helped out by carrying the gifts and presents collected to MinSer's hotel room. That's my very first time to visit the 5-Stars hotel. The room is extremely luxurious and well-furnished. I was stunned to see that. The cousins, including me played around in MinSer&Jenling's room for a while before leaving. Haha!

Fuhhhh! The whole wedding event has a full stop here.

I'm really touched by the whole event. MinSer is now at JB, pioneering a church there with JenLing. They are now serving in FGT JB, Full Gospel Tabernacle Johor Bahru! Nevertheless, the great vision of MinSer himself encourages me a lot. The love within the marriage is true, strong, pleasing and comfortable.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (New International Version)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (New International Version)
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Love makes my life complete.
Due to the unfailing love of God, we can now love. This is wonderful..

♥ Don't be anxious...

I'm kinda anxious about the starting of new sem.

Some study plans are to be carried out. Somehow, I've been worrying about my easy-changing attitude towards the whole thing! Do you know the peribahasa, "hangat-hangat tahi ayam". Well, direct translate, it takes the phrase of "warming chicken shit". Chicken is a warm-blooded animal, so it's reasonable that its shit is warm as well. As soon as the chicken shit is out from the chicken, it starts to cool down and ultimately having the same temperature with the surrounding.

Well, what would i like to say is I'm a person that is easily distracted and I can't really focus on a thing for too long. I'm so excited to get everything done excellently but I just worry, "how long this enthusiasm will last?" I went to Hope Ipoh yesterday and bro Joshua from Hope PJ came for mission support. I was quite surprised while enjoying listening to his sermon. He talked about Law of God based on 1 Timothy 1:8-11. It was very impressive which is still remain in my mind vividly. "If you are yet to reach the level that God has set for you, you are sinned." Owwh, I might have sinned a lot previously...

Of course, bro Joshua also mentioned a lot of sins and some have been being done by us at all time. How sad... "Repent, as the kingdom of God is near!"

Philippians 4:6 (New International Veron)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

This verse encourages me tremendously and I believe it does so in every worried souls! Let's pray more!

♥ Awakening Time

I'm having my holiday now.

Somehow, I'm not easy with this holiday. It's probably caused by the worry about failing to have 4flat in my PSPM1. Well, I'm not stupid, my mom can be one of the witnesses! lol!

God has blessed me a kinda outstanding IQ(130++). However, I'm indeed a lazy person! I'm so regret to not put 100% effort on my study! I'm always given confidence that God's with me, take it easy! Yeah! It's good to have great faith but do remember that God helps those who help themselves. Seem that I've not been really helping myself!

Oh God, self-pride often drives me off! Please change me into a real devotee to You! My wish virtually is to have a good result in study so that I can be a better influence on sharing Gospel among my friends! (Yea! That's holy! ^^)

Awakening time! I'm totally shaken to be super awake! No matter how, I'm going to put more attention on my study in the next sem! Of course, attending church weekly is a must at all time! God, please help me in my study and ensure me to get into a good U!

Well, belief that God has a good plan for me is the best consolation I would have ever! Hallelujah!
